Feeling like a princess!

Adventures of Prom Dress Shopping...

Shopping for a dress can be a pain. The day started out with being so excited to finally be able to find the perfect dress for a special night. We had just gotten out of a basketball game and hopped in the car. I had only expected girls to be going, but that didn't happen that way. With the boys in the back of the car, we headed into the big city of Salt Lake, in search of the perfect dress.

We ended up in the Gateway Mall area. People were everywhere. You could definitely tell it was a Saturday in the shopping areas. We headed down to LatterDay Bride and Prom. It is now my favorite store and I know where to get my wedding dress! :D

There is when the search began. I looked and looked and looked. I picked out two dresses to try on and Kim found one that she just wanted me to try on for fun. That is when the trying on began. After trying on two dresses I found my dress!!!

I tried on 3 of the same dresses just in different colors....


This was the dress Kim wanted me to try on...I didn't like it too much....

Meanwhile the boys were:

Mason was pretty much falling asleep...

The teenage boys were bored or just messing around....

And the Final Decision:

After about an hour and a half I finally figured out the dress I wanted!

I'm really glad I decided on this one. It reminds me of Belle's dress off Beauty and the Beast. It's so pretty and I can't wait to wear it!!


Another pretty funny thing happened that night...

So me, Delaney, and Mason were sitting on the couch watching Narnia with the rest of us kids. Just out of nowhere he put his arms around both me and Delaney and said, "Hey ladies." It was in this really kinda weird voice. Then he would turn around and kiss both of us. At one point I kept trying to get away but he would attack me with kisses. He's a silly boy!
