The trip started out meeting at the church for direction and words from the bishop and a prayer. Delaney got to go up there with us and we had a lot of fun! On the ride up we watched the R.M and the Best Two Years. Those are my favorite movies! They are just so hilarious! We got up there around 5:50, which was when the open house started. We sat down to watch a movie about the temple. Then after waiting in line for a long time we finally made it inside.

The inside was really pretty! Our bishop had asked us to find the difference in a dedicated and a non-dedicated temple. I found the difference right away. In a non-dedicated temple just about anyone can go inside. Of course everyone took their small kids and even babies inside. There are signs everywhere that say, "Reverence in the Temple please. If you need to talk, please whisper." Did anyone whisper? No. It was really loud. I did feel the spirit though. Just like the Draper temple my favorite rooms were the Bridal Rooms and the Sealing Room. They were just so pretty!
After we went through and got our refreshments we went on our ten minute drive to one of my young women leader's son's house to stay for the night. The girls got to stay inside upstairs and the boys stayed in tents outside. They ordered pizza for all of us and we stayed outside to eat. We had a little devotional. We read all of Alma 5 and then talked about temples.
The next morning they woke us up at 5:30 to eat breakfast and head over to the Jordan River Temple.

The sunrise we got to see....
There was already a lot of people in there when we got there at 6:30. We went through and got to do confirmations. I got to go in the room with Jaycee Shakespear who is a new beehive in the young womens. It was her first time and just seeing the excitement on her face made it even more spiritual for me. The chapel you sit in has the glass window so you can see in and watch them do baptisms. Our boys went first so they had to wait about two hours for us to get done. They had someone with an appointment that got there a half hour after us, and they got to go first. I just felt so bad for the boys.
After all the girls were ready we finally headed to Lagoon. I hung out with Lexi Cox and Delaney the whole time. Delaney wouldn't really go on any of the rollercoasters it was me andLexi the whole time. We went on the Colosses, Wicked, and many others. It was so much fun! We went on the little rides for Delaney.

We explored the pioneer village and found an old dentist office. It was interesting. I definitely wouldn't want to go to the dentist if I lived back in the day!
My mom wanted me to get a picture of my little brother and this was the only time I saw him and he just didn't cooperate with me at all.
The day we left I heard some news that I wasn't too sure about. My mom told me to enjoy my leaders because they were all going to be released the following Sunday. I asked her how she knew that and well now she is our ward's new young women president. She seems really nervous but I'm sure she will do great! haha Right as I write this she is reading books about young womens and everything. She will be awesome! I'm excited!
