First letter!!!!

Yesterday I got my first letter from Elder Schmutz! I was over at my friends house playing rock band and by mom texted me saying that she had a letter at home for me. I asked her what letter and she just said that it's from somebody that I know. So I was home within ten minutes reading the letter!

He has been enjoying the MTC and said that the missionaries there call it "the bubble" because when you get there you forget all the worldly things and you feel the spirit a lot. It wasn't a very long letter because he has been really busy. I'm just grateful that I got one. I can already see the little change in him. He's amazing!

Today at the store his dad kinds scared me a little bit. He came up to me and said, "Matt has swine flu." he had the pretty serious look on his face so I kinda started to believe him. After I said," don't tell me that", he started walking away and said that his mom sent gum with a lot of hand sanitized to last him a long time. She is so funny! But I guess they have found a lot of cases of swine flu up at the MTC so there is a little reason to worry. He just scared me for a minute. So the past couple days have been pretty good days. I think that the letter made it a really good week! I still miss him a lot but I'm starting to get better slowly. I'm just really grateful for all of the people out there like my mom, Heather Glover, Cassidie,and the other girls or woman that know what I'm going through and have been able to help me.
