Posting, posting, posting!

Well I think this is my final update for now. Let's hope my computer gets fixed by the next time I need to post. Sorry for the long time it's taken me. (Especially Kaylie because she has been waiting for these pictures so she can post on her blog too.)

So where to start....I guess I will start with my fun trip to Vegas for Sasha's wedding. She left with her husband Barry a couple days before we did to spend time down there for her 21st birthday. We got to watch my neice Ta'Kara while they were there. My family left on Tuesday the 15th to Vegas. We got there before they did and they ended up starting about 15 minutes later than they were supposed to. Oh did I mention that they got married in the Viva Las Vegas? yeah....interesting. They had a lady judege marry them and I think the wedding lasted about 10 minutes if even that. Ta'Kara ran around the whole time and nobody really cared. After the vows and stuff they got a few pictures and they pushed us all out the door. I decided after this experience I will definitely get married in the temple!

We went to our hotel/condo called the Tahiti Village. It was actually a pretty nice place. The pool was really nice! The night we got there I didn't go swimming but read my book and enjoyed the nice weather.

Later that night we all had a little BBQ and they did the whole toasting thing to the couple. We decided we wanted to go hang out in the city so Sasha took Ta'Kara so we could enjoy ourselves. We went to the Belagio to see the water show. There were some interesting people there. I think two of them were dressed up as some weird video game characters, just the less modest versions. CREEEEPY! There was also a guy dressed up as spiderman and two as Captain Jack Sparrow. Oh how I wish I would have gotten pictures!

We probably got back to our room at midnight that night and pretty much went straight to bed. The next morning we went swimming. We had to check out by 11:00 and we got back to our room to get ready at about 10:30. So we had the maids out there waiting for us so they could clean the room. We were out pretty fast. We ate at IHOP before we shopped at the Outlets. My little sister got sick randomly and threw up pretty much everywhere. I didn't really know what to do so I had to help her. It was nasty!!

So next on my list of blogging to do is about our fun little senior picture shoot we had this past weekend. Me, Kaylie, and Delaney went down to St.George to take more senior pictures. We actually got some really cute ones! I will post them when she gets done editing them. I do have a couple she did take and fix of me and Delaney. The whole shoot went well.

We went to Tuachan to see Aida. Or at least attempted to see it. We met Kaylie's two roommates there. One of them actually works there so she got us free tickets. While we were in our seats waiting for the show to start the weather was perfectly fine.

Once the guy started talking about Tuachan's history and about the play, some major wind blew in and hit pretty hard. As the play went on it started raining, super windy, and there was a little lightning in the background. Once the rain started hitting harder they stopped the play and everyone went out into the foyer thing to get out of the rain. We were going to leave but the lady told us to stay for a little while because they would probably start the play again. We got a little crazy and did our own dances and singing and stuff. I think we were some great entertainment for the people around us. The wind was still really bad so we just took random pictures.

There were a bunch of old people there and we looked over and this lady had her hair up in some weird bun...so Kaylie decided to try it. The funny thing is the lady looked over and saw us laughing and taking a picture of it and I think got offended....This next picture kinda shows what it looked like....

So we waited 20 minutes and went back in to start up the show again. It got really windy again and the weather did a repeat of what happened earlier only it got worse. The main guy was singing a song and the next thing you know there was a big flash of lightning...the look on his face explained it all. He looked scared...The electrical stuff went out a little bit and then a big boom of thunder went off. That was when me, Kaylie, and Delaney decided to get the heck out of there.

A couple nights ago I went back to Tuachan with my family to see Annie. It was actually a pretty good play, just a couple of the characters bugged me. The girl that played Annie was also "Mary" in the Cedar Shakesperean Festival's musical of The Secret Garden. I didn't really like her voice then and I didn't like it as Annie either. She just kinda sounded like she was yelling. Two of the orphans kinda drove me crazy and just had too much of a whiney voice. Ms. Hannigan wasn't very good either. Her dance skills were really lame and she looked stiff. Sorry that was kinda a bad review of it. I really liked it but since I've been in drama and X-Press I just get critical and notice things other people might not. I would still advise people to go see it!

And all that brings me to the conclusion of this post!
